Здравствуйте!
У меня установлена последняя Ubuntu 14.04. Сегодня, при запуске офиса получаю подарок:
Невозможно запустить приложение.
Пользовательская установка LibreOffice не может быть завершена в связи с недостаточными правами доступа. Убедитесь, что вы имеете достаточно прав к каталогу, указанному далее и перезапустите LibreOffice:
/home/notebook/.config/libreoffice/4
Офис не трогал, как так получилось — не понимаю! Подскажите, как правильно исправить ошибку? Спасибо!

Видно, что прав не хватает, как себе делегировать права?
Зашел через Guake, ввел команду sudo libreoffice и он запустился, но я это сделал через SU. Как же себе назначить права?
ТС, как видно по состоянию на 30/01/2020 потерял интерес к созданной им теме (пометка Решено в теме отсутствует, тема оставлена не закрытой, сообщений в теме давно не было). Тема стародавняя (последнее сообщение в топике: 28/10/2015; последнее сообщение от ТС в топике: 28/10/2015). Модератором раздела принято решение закрыть тему.

sudo chmod 644 /home/notebook/.config/libreoffice/4вернее вам владельца нужно сменить на себя
sudo chown имя_юзера имя_группы путь

Прошло полгода и наступил на те же грабли .
Все тоже самое только версии офиса другие .
Переустановка не помогает. Работает только если установить в ручную Инфра сборку в домашнюю директорию и оттуда запускать бинарик офиса. Гугл молчит. Я в шоке .
Хелп ми .
ps
В прошлый раз ничего умнее полной переустановки не придумал. Решения не нашел.

/.ooo3 в такой же ситуации помогло. Тогда оно после обновления началось.

Ничего не обновлял. Ошибка проявляется после некорректного закрытия офиса.
В терминал ругается мало .
/.ooo3 в такой же ситуации помогло.

Принудительное повторное обновление всех пакетов OpenOffice не помогло, удаление
/.ooo3 не помогло, в консоль не выводит ничего, просто возвращает управление.
Подскажите, где лежит лог запуска сей программы, дабы можно было посмотреть, в чём затык. Результаты Гугла содержат либо аналогичные вопросы без ответов, либо какие-нибудь другие логи.

может из-за этого скаченные пакеты получились битыми, но пометились как скаченные и при принудительном переапдейте они не перекачиваются, или в сусе все это не сохраняется и при каждой переустановке пакеты заново качаются?

У меня вчера после обновления получился тот же самый результат, причем никаких проблем с питанием не было. Насколько я могу судить, кто-то ошибся и выложил в репозиторий смесь из пакетов двух несовместимых версий (сейчас все уже вычищено). Мне помогло полное удаление OO, а затем установка по новой. Пользовательские профили я не чистил.

Да, это тоже весьма феноменальная ссылка — она как раз входит в класс «какие-нибудь другие логи». Это журналирование событий компонентов ООо, для включения нужно выполнить процедуру на встроенном Бэйсике и перезапустить ООо — не мой случай

Не работает OpenOffice
При попытке запустить файл OpenOffice или LibreOffice ничего не происходит и программа не открывается.

Как решить проблему с запуском ОпенОфис:
Самая частая проблема с запуском это зависание процессов soffice.exe и soffice.bin
Проверяем так ли это:
Щелкаем правой кнопкой мыши на панели задач – ‘Запустить диспетчер задач’ или запускаем напрямую Выполнить (Найти) taskmgr.exe.
Переходим на вкладку “Процессы”:
Видим множество запущенных процессов soffice.exe и soffice.bin. Закрываем их все выбрав процесс и нажав кнопку “Завершить процесс”. Будьте аккуратны и не закройте какой-нибудь другой нужный процесс. После закрытия всех процессов программа OpenOffice должна запускаться.
Если не получилось, возможна необходима проверка на вирусы
Для проверки и лечения вирусов используйте утилиты (к примеру Cureit от Dr WEB или Kaspersky Virus Removal Tool от лаборатории Касперского). Запуск утилит лучше осуществлять с загрузочной флешки или диска.

When I turned on my computer this morning, the OpenOffice (which is set to automatically launch) did not launch and I received a message that reads:
«OpenOffice 4.1.0 Fatal Error
The application cannot be started.
A general error occured while accessing your central configuration.»
I figured it was just hanging up somewhere so I rebooted the computer and then got the same error message. I have since uninstalled and re-installed my OpenOffice, but I keep getting this darned error message! Help!! I really need to access my documents and the message is all I get.

You rename a folder the same way as you rename a file. Go to the folder above the folder you wish to rename — for example, take the chain
c:TomDickHarry
Suppose you want to rename folder Harry.
Click on the C: drive and select menu item View : icons
You will see pictures of folders
. Tom .
Double click on folder Tom and you get a similar picture
. Dick .
Double click on folder Dick and you get a similar picture
. Harry .
Now, you right click on folder Harry and select Rename.

I’m fairly certain that I was able to do as you suggested. I tried to launch my OpenOffice, but I got the original error message that started this whole thing. I then went back to the folder location and there was a new folder titled «user»!! Within this folder are other folders titled «>extensions>bundled>registry». Is this supposed to happen?
I’m feeling more and more lost all the time! The original file that I renamed has all these same items in it but a separate folder has different folders inside it like autotext/backup/basic/config/etc. Am I in the wrong area??

When I try to open OO I get this massage:
Fatal Error
This Application Cannot be started.
An Internal error has occured.
Also in the process of downloading OO 3.1 it tries to update java but I get a 1606 error. I don’t know if these errors are related or not, but I’ve tried uninstalling and reinstalling OO v. 3.1 twice and it did this both times.
Open office was working fine for me until recently, when I first recieved the fatal error message.

Welcome to this forum jonas5188!
It seems that something is corrupted and a de-installation does not remove it.
I suggest that you try again to de-install OOo, then use a product like CCCleaner which will remove any leftover entries from the registry. Do the same with Java. Then, download again the official version of OOo from the official web site (http://www.openoffice.org), use the default folders for the installation and let us know the result.

[Solved] LO5.0 Fatal Error…cannot be started
I think this thing is totally messed up. I have the LibreOffice_5.0.6.3_Linux_x86_deb files and tried to rename the existing /opt/libreoffice directory to allow reinstallation but that didn’t solve the problem. Afraid I’m in over my head. Here is the error message that appears in a box superimposed over the green LibreOffice 5.0 banner as it tries to load:
The application cannot be started. Error while reinstalling all previously deployed packages of context user.
Can anyone help? (I still have 4.4 and tried to use it to open one of my files. I wonder if that’s what «previously deployed» means?)
Oh, sorry… Kubuntu 14.04 is the OS.

Best guess in my case, since I don’t use Linux, is that some part of LibreOffice was still active in memory when you tried to install the newer version.
In my opinion, unless you know what you are doing, allow LibreOffice to install to the default directory.
If you have an older version that’s still installed, the new version should install over top of it.
A Linux user, of which there are many on this forum, may have a better suggestion.

Thank you, Russell. After turning the computer off (power off) and restarting, I was able to run the newly reinstalled LO 5.0.6 programs, and even open my .ods spreadsheet files. Happy man! But after a bit of work on them it came time to save… NO DEAL. General input/output error.
I then created a brand new spreadsheet and saved it (Ctrl-S) successfully during a work process. But when I closed it and tried to reopen it, NO DEAL. LO tried to repair it but could not.
So I’m stuck, at the moment. This is just a travel laptop and I’ll be home soon to my main desktop machine but I want to be sure I don’t infect it with whatever problem this laptop is having. (It DOES have a small Windows partition, 8.1 which I have been updating in the past couple of days, but that wouldn’t affect the big Linux partition, would it? Windows doesn’t even see Linux, as I recall.)

I can’t help with exact syntax for LibreOffice, but for OpenOffice I would do this to find where it lives:
in a terminal type «whereis openoffice4» (no quotes). This will tell you where the O.S. thinks OpenOffice lives. Remove the listed folders
Syntax for LibreOffice should be similar.

I have edited this thread’s subject to «SOLVED» because my reinstalled LibreOffice Calc and Writer programs are opening properly. (I haven’t tested Impress, etc.)
The two files that seem to have been the problem still cannot be saved. They can be opened and edited, but trying to save them produces the offer to repair, a report that they cannot be fixed, and «General Error.» (I even copied an older version of one of these files from my thumb drive, copied to that from my home computer before I began traveling, so I KNOW that one’s good. But… same problem…) Once this happens, NO OTHER DATA FILE can be opened either: They are ALL reported as corrupt, even simple short text files.
After a cold (power off) reboot of the computer (for some reason this Dell laptop will not simply «Restart»), all of the LibreOffice data files (except those two) open fine, can be edited and saved. I can create fresh new files and save them, even with passwords. It seems as if all I have to do is AVOID the two problem files. But that’s a subject for a different thread.
Thanks for the help with this, guys! Maybe I’ll see you in one of the «locked files» or «General Error» discussions.

this happens to me in Back Box Linux (based on Ubuntu) I tried to delete everything, and reinstalled it once again, it always installs it as if it were root owner, I can not install it normally where my user is the owner, I already try to change permissions and owner but it still does not allow me to use it

A quick guess: install at administrator level (using sudo) and select «install for all users». That should get you a working LibreOffice. You can then (if you choose) try to sort out why your earlier install failed.

I’m a little confused about it
Could you tell me exactly how the command line is going?
because I tried it on previous occasions at the end I said the same thing and when I saw the properties of the folder said that the owner was (root) and could not directly change pipe to do it by chmod, chgrp, chown.
did the same when installing it from Synaptic Package Manager, and also updated my version of BackBox, and did not serve much
try to install the package directly download the libreoffice page but it is the same problem
I am not so new to linux, although lately I have not used my computer, and I forget some things, try what I remember most and also look in other pages, but I do not understand that this is 4 & 5 and 3 & 4 libreofficeold) because they do not treat it like a bug ???, because it is not a problem of the user, since I can install other packages without problem, and my user is perfectly well configured
in the page of libreoffice does not even appear comment on this error

ooooohhhh my god!!!!!
I did something very stupid and it worked, I can not believe it, I could not uninstall it and just delete the directory that is in /home/(YOUR USER)/.config/libreoffice
I wanted to see if the menu icons disappeared and I clicked to see if it said it did not work and delete it, and I run this shit

Brenda Jones, check you PM, i give you the real solution, but, i not pos here, is only for you, simply solution linux & windows, no need intall nothin no reinstal no nothing , only a simple action, this forum is wrong, and they just say stupid things that have nothing to do, it’s an installation bug but they do not accept it
