Что делать с «Nvidia An unknown error has occurred»?

Вылетает ошибка Nvidia An unknown error has occurred, когда пытаюсь поставить драйвера на свою видеокарту. Установку запускаю через отдельный инсталлятор GeForce Expirience, который скачан на компьютере. Думал, что поврежден скачанный установщик, а поэтому решил перекачать — не помогло. Пробовал запускать от имени администратора — не помогло. Теперь вот обращаюсь за помощью к вам.

Решение

«Nvidia An unknown error has occurred» остается актуальной проблемой и по сей день — с ней сталкиваются на ежедневной основе многие обладатели «зеленых» видеокарт. К счастью, данную ошибку довольно просто исправить (или хотя бы обойти), воспользовавшись проверенными решениями.

• Как только перед вами покажется окошко с ошибкой, не закрывайте его (!);
• откройте диспетчер устройств (WIN+R→devmgmt.msc);
• раскройте раздел «Видеоадаптеры»;
• кликните ПКМ на свою видеокарту и выберите «Обновить»;
• выберите пункты «Найти драйверы на этом компьютере» и «Выбрать драйвер из списка доступных драйверов на компьютере»;
• выберите в списке на свою видеокарту и кликните «Далее»;
• подождите окончания установки драйвера и перезагрузите ПК.

Если такой метод не помог, то можно прибегнуть к помощи GeForce Experience.

• перейдите на официальную страничку GeForce Experience;
• загрузите установщик GeForce Experience;
• следуйте инструкции по установке и войдите в аккаунт Nvidia (создайте таковой, если в этом есть необходимость);
• в окошке, где указывается отсутствие видеодрайвера, нажмите «Продолжить»;
• в параметрах установки кликните на «Выборочная установка»;
• обязательно выберите в следующем окошке «Чистую установку» (!);
• и наконец, кликните на кнопку «Установить»;
• после установки драйвера через GeForce Experience перезагрузите ПК.

И последнее, что можно попробовать — это полностью удалить все драйвера и файлы, относящиеся к ним, со своего компьютера с помощью DDU (Display Driver Uninstaller) и установить актуальную версию видеодрайвера привычным образом.

После применения DDU сообщение гарантировано «Nvidia An unknown error has occurred» исчезнет.

Решение проблемы: «Не могу схранить в *.ai / *.pdf!»

Столкнулся с граблей, которой как оказалось уже много лет, так что модеры, если хотите — убивайте тему, но, имхо, может кому-то поможет.

Не мог долго понять в чем дело: Люстра CS3 отказывалась сохранять в *.ai напрочь! Писала при этом прога следующее:

«An unknown error has occurred.»

В любой другой формат сохраняла без вопросов. Произошло это после открытия импортного *.pdf
После долгого лазания по нету, усек что на этой проблеме уже немало народу накололось с момента перехода с CS еще на CS2 и проблема оказалась СТАНДАРТНОЙ.
В общем если вдруг у вас подобное произошло, сделайте следующее (кому лень лезть на adobe.com):

РЕШЕНИЕ 1.
1. Выйти из Illustrator.
2. Переименовать файл с настройками прозрачности: из Transparency Flattener Presets file в Transparency Flattener Presets.old
Файл находят в Documents and Settings[имя пользователя]Application DataAdobeAdobe Illustrator [версия] Settings.
3. Start Illustrator. Illustrator создаст новый файл настроек прозрачности.

РЕШЕНИЕ 2. (иногда срабатывает)
1. В Illustrator`e выбираем File > Save As.
2. Задаем имя файла и его расположение.
3. Выбираем Adobe Illustrator (*.AI) как формат для сохранения и жмем Save As.
3. Снимаем галоску с закладки Create PDF Compatible File Option и жмем OK.

РЕШЕНИЕ 3 (ТУПОЕ).
1. В Illustrator`e выбираем File > Save As.
2. Задаем имя файла и его расположение.
3. Выбираем Illustrator EPS (*.EPS) как формат для сохранения и жмем Save As.

РЕШЕНИЕ 4 (САМОЕ ТУПОЕ).
1. Переустанавливаем Люстру
2. Незабываем при этом убить ПОЛНОСТЬЮ все настройки!

How to Fix – Rongta 80mm Thermal Printer – Firefox – ‘an unknown error occurred while printing’

Rongta 80mm Thermal printer is the most popular POS receipt printer in the world. It can run on a regular 80mm printer driver for windows. It is possible to print receipts from a web browser like firefox or chrome to Rongta printers. Although there are times, it might become hectic with different printing issues to send the printing data to the printer from the browser.

If you are trying to print your POS receipt from Firefox for a Rongta printer, a common problem, that appears time to time, is the following:

You probably failed to resolve the issue, even after uninstalling the Firefox or by Refreshing Firefox settings, or by clearing the printer saved settings on your browser. The issue is very weird. For some reason, Javascript’s window print fails to send the data to Printer through firefox, even though it thinks it did. I tried digging several things, but nothing worked until I found a way to actually make firefox think, it’s a new printer. Here are the steps you may following.

1. Close the firefox, and make your Rongta 80mm printer the default printer of your system.
2. Now open firefox, and type ‘about:support’ & enter.
3. It will open a page. Scroll down to the printing section where it says Troubleshooting with ‘Clear saved print settings’. Click on the button to clear the settings.
4. From the top press ‘Refresh Firefox’ button.
5. Now restart your firefox, and type ‘about:config’. These is the firefox configurable environmental variables, that we wish to change some.
6. Before we do, we first need to make firefox save, Rongta settings. One quick way of doing this is to open a new tab, browse google.com, now go to Print from the File tab, it will show you ‘Advanced Preference’, now from the Print button at the top, make sure Rongta 80mm printer is selected and press Print. It will probably not print anything, but what it will help to do, is creating our printer settings in firefox.
7. Now go back to the tab with ‘about:config’, at the top, type ‘print’ without quotes in the box that says ‘Search for preference’
8. A lot of settings should appear, a couple of things you need to change.
9. Delete print_printer or print.print_printer row.
10. Set print.print_via_parent boolean value to ‘true’.
11. Set print.tab_modal.enabled to ‘false’
12. Make sure dom.enable_window_print this is set to ‘true’
13. Make sure print.show_print_progress is set to ‘true’
14. Now, close the window, and restart your firefox again.

You should now be able to print your POS receipt using Rongta 80mm printer using Firefox.

When reposting, please post the following information.

Your Operating System — Windows 7 Premium

The version of Firefox — 4.0.1

What printer you are using (as different drivers can cause different problems) — HP 2600n

The symptoms, including error messages (Just saying it won’t print is not enough) — I cannot print from Firefox, keep getting «an unknown error occurred while printing.»

What steps you have tried, to fix the problem — http://kb.mozillazine.org/Problems_printing_web_pages#Reset_printer (didn’t work at all). I also uninstalled firefox and deleted my profile. Then, I re-installed firefox. It still won’t print.

I came across the same problem today, also using a 2600N. Window updated the drivers through a Windows update yesterday, so I suspect that’s what caused the problem since it was working fine before.

I tried the reset in about:config and that didn’t do jack, but I was able to solve it by removing the printer with device manager and then disconnecting it from my PC, plugging it back in, and letting Windows reconfigure it automatically. It works now.

The problem is more than the printer,in my experience.I also have the following print options: «print to pdf» freeware , fax,» iPrint»,and «Microsoft XPS Document Writer»,none of which work either.I am using FF 4,Win7,and a Canon Pixma iP4300 printer.I tried all the suggestions in the previous posts to no avail.What makes it worse in my case is the problem is intermittent .Every time I launch FF,I never know if the print function will work or not. I can print in IE without a problem.

Just to let everyone know I upgraded to FF 5 Beta,and the printer problem is gone (so far). The only thing is most of my favourite add-ons are no longer compatible with the new FF release.Oh well..

This solution from ctlaltl33t (above) worked for me when nothing else did. Fast and easy. I turned on my printer, then I deleted my HP 1600 printer from the «devices and printers» list. I unplugged the connection between my computer and the printer and shut down the computer. I restarted the computer and reconnected the cable between the printer and computer and watched the computer find and load the drivers for this «new» printer. It printed properly with no error message.

I never print on paper direct from browser. I usually print as Pdf and edit the data. (I have 3 Printers Brother-laser, HP-Ink and Epson)

When I save the data as pdf, or print as pdf from FF, the following error message appears: «an unknown error occurred while printing» I tried:

1. Uninstall FF (clean the registry also) — did not work. 2. Approach http://kb.mozillazine.org/Problems_printing_web_pages#Reset_printer (didn’t work at all). 3. I received my 256 SSHDD and I made a new install of the OS from scratch — (afterwards I installed FF) — same error

4. All other programs for pdf editing and printing or «saving as pdf» work. Opera, Safari, and even FF 4.0 in a Virtual Box install of Ubuntu 11.4 works.

Is there any other approach (excepting the installation of an older version of FF)? Older FF versions

I hope someone can help, I have just bought & installed a HP dekjet 2510 all in one printer, when I try to print any thing online, for instance paypal invoices, adress labels etc I get a little box that says «An unknown error occurred while printing.» it happens on everything online that I have tried, I dont have a problem printing anything else, & no problem found with the trouble shooter. any ideas? if it cant be solved its going back & I will go back to Epsom!!

Try following steps to steps to reset firefox and then try printing.

1. Type about:config in the Address Bar and press Enter. A list of preferences will appear.
2. Find the preference print.print_printer (Note: this preference is missing in Firefox profiles where you’ve never used the printer.)
3. Right-click (context-click) that preference and select Reset . (Some users may need to reset all the print.printer preferences for a particular printer, if resetting this one master preference doesn’t solve the problem.)
4. Restart Firefox and see if the problem is resolved.
