Creating my first hackintosh and have been trying to do it for hours now.
Have been following the guide in the laptop section for envy laptop series.
Created the USB using the MAC for OS Mojave, copied rehabman’s config for 620 series.
Have set injectkexts to yes.
FakeSMC is there.
But still DSMOS arrives, any suggestions ? attaching the image of the last messages on screen with the post.

That’s supposed to happen. I don’t see anything too out of the ordinary there. Just let it sit there for a bit. It should boot eventually.
Also, just for future reference, help threads go in the parent section Mojave Laptop Support. This is for tutorials on installing Mojave on specific laptop models.

okay, trying that, meanwhile in the laptop faq section i saw something specific to my graphics card version,so i downloaded clover from dids git as mentioned there(before i was using rehabman’s build of clover).
I did that, made the usb again and now even the install mac option is not shown.
Recreating the usb in the old way and following your advice.

okay, trying that, meanwhile in the laptop faq section i saw something specific to my graphics card version,so i downloaded clover from dids git as mentioned there(before i was using rehabman’s build of clover).
I did that, made the usb again and now even the install mac option is not shown.
Recreating the usb in the old way and following your advice.
I’m not a mod, I was just letting you know.

@RehabMan I missed that part. So i think the only thing i was missing was this clover folder.

Please let me know if I am still missing anything, I am fairly new to this so please don’t mind.
Update for last night. I redid the usb to see the same screen again according to the instructions.
tried 2-3 times, it stayed on that screen for sometime and then the screen went blank. Left the blank screen overnight but it didnt show anything.

«DSMOS has arrived» is normal/expected.
Give it time… booting the installer from USB is not quick.
But also your profile is not filled out correctly… missing screen resolution. Please fix as per FAQ.

Все usb и прочие устройства отключены от бука
В БИОС включен AHCI
Сборка iAtkos l2
При установке пробовал и с загрузочником хамелеон и с чимерой. Пробовал график энаблер включать в установку и пробовал без него
больше ничего не трогал.
После успешной установке при загрузке раздела с маком зависает на яблоке с ромашкой.
в -v пишет следующее:
NTFS driver 3.8 [flags R/W]
NTFS volume name -//- version 3.1.
NTFS volume name -//- version 3.1.
NTFS volume name -//- version 3.1.
NTFS volume name -//- version 3.1.
Что предпринять?

Ребята, дело в том что у меня 1 жесткий диск и он встроенный, а не внешний. имеется 3 НТФС раздела и 1 для мака (фат 32 переведенный в маковскую журнальную)
объем HDD 500gb

А как вы создавали HFS раздел? Подозреваю, что нужно сначала весь диск форматировать в HFS а потом в буткампе (?) делать раздел с NTFS.
По поводу того что говорит вам терминал – вроде как упал драйвер.
Я бы попробовал проверить с помощью DiskWarrior, который чинит маковские диски, меня раза три выручал. Можно с двд загрузиться, либо поставить дисквэриор на флеш, правда там танцы с бубном, но выполнимые. Если компа с макосью под рукой нет, тогда двд. Это если дело все же в маковском разделе.
Ещё лучше – утилиту которая может проверять и NTFS и HFS, но я тут уже не силён, не знаю такую утилиту, может кто подскажет.

попробую все уничтожить с HDD, оставить 1-2 раздела и поставить только мак.

Как то вы резво принимаете решения я же только спросил, могу быть неправ
И для начала я бы лучше проверил диск утилитами, чем сразу всё уничтожать, вдруг поможет. Ну или они хотя бы что-то скажут о состоянии диска, чтобы знать на будущее.

лог пишется после того как — т.е. скорее всего проблема не в НТФС, а в зависании системы от того драйвера, который грузится следующим…

Форматнул винт. Форматнул через диск хакинтоша. Снова установил хак.

Думал наверно сборочка не садится. Скачаю-ка другую.
Скачал следующие:
1.Mac OS X Mountain Lion 10.8.2 [Установленная система для Intel. Простая и быстрая установка]
Все по инструкции сделал. думал вот оно! но при загрузке раздела он тупо в ребут уходил через пару минут.
2. OS X Mountain Lion Install DVD 10.8.2 [Intel]
При загрузке установочного диска недогружался до конца и тоже в ребут….. т.е. не дошел даже до экрана установки.
3. OS X 10.7.3 Install DVD
При загрузке установочного диска вылетела ошибка
DSMOS has arrived.
Тоже до экрана установки не добрался.
Что за проклятие?
Что делать?

Гугление DSMOS has arrived дает кучу ссылок с советами, пробовали что-нибудь из них?
Раз, два, три, тысячи их, и даже больше
DSMOS has arrived means that the core kernel has loaded and everything should be OK. Generally, the first thing that loads after DSMOS has arrived are the graphics drivers and then the network drivers. Do you have another graphics card you can try to see if it might be your card hanging the system? Or try booting without it?
Видеокарта может всё же? 520МХ — совместимая?

Удали абсолютно все видео драйвера (intel,ati,nvidia) и грузи с отключенным график энаблером. Если загрузится то уже тогда колдуй с видео.

Много читал… Были способы в основном с -s и вводом каких-то параметров, исключающих видеокексты, но у меня после загрузки -s ничего не вводится в командную строку… то ли зависает, то ли не реагирует на клаву…
по поводу видео именно эту модель не знаю, но 520м легко заводили. и вообще на соседнюю модель моего бука ставили хак, всё кроме вай фай завели помоему… не могу связаться с человеком.

Спасибо. Можно поподробнее как удалить их, если у меня хак ни один не загружается, сингл юсер мод не работает, а при установке я пробовал и ставить и не ставить график энаблер. так же в ручную прописывать пробовал…..
для интереса установочники тоже програн графикэнаблер ес/ноу. без изменений.

1. Сборку лучше не использовать.
2. Обновить биос до последней версии
3. Правильно настроить биос
4. Скачать последний загрузчик хама или химеры, закатать на сиди или на флешку.
5. Скачать ритейл оси и записать на двд.
6. Если есть проблемы и не догружает до самой установки, грузимся в сейф буте с флагом -х (-v -x PciRoot=1)
7. Если все прошло нормально установить последнею версию мультибист, выбрать самые необходимые параметры (смотрим конф. компа)
8. Недостающие девайсы завести кекстами (если есть опыт, править дсдт)

недавно собрал себе такой конфиг:
ASUS P8Z77-M PRO/Intel Core i5 3570/ MSI ATI Radeon HD7870/ G.Skill Sniper 16Gb/
все работает как часики.
Mac mini лежит в стороне пылится :laugh:
Пришлось только немного поиграться с видео, так как подержка ати 7ххх тольк в бете 10.8.3
На все про все ушло около 3-х часов

The issue is caused most of the time by FakeSMC.kext and it’s a Graphics issue too. On this guide, we will show you how to solve this error with just a few steps.
2 Methods for Fixing DSMOS Error
There are 2 solutions for you that will fix your DSMOS Hackintosh error. Let’s begin the process.
Fixing DSMOS with FakeSMC (Method 1)
Download the latest FakeSMC.kext and replace with the old one. Just boot from mac drive or from USB installer and Boot with Following flag “GraphicsEnaber=No”.
Alternative
If that doesn’t fix your problem, boot your mac into Single User Mode with the following boot flag “-s” and type:
/sbin/mount -uw
mkdir ~/backup
cd /System/Library/Extensions
If you have NVIDIA graphics then type:
mv -R NVD*.kext ~/backup
If you have AMD/ATI Graphics then type:
mv -R ATI*.kext ~/backup
If you have IntelGraphics then type:
mv -R AppleIntelGMA* ~/backup
mv -R AppleIntelHD* ~/backup
mv -R AppleIntelSNB* ~/backup
mv -R AppleIntelIntegratedFramebuffer.kext ~/backup
Fixing DSMOS error (Method 2)
Boot your mac into Single User Mode along with Verbose mode with just typing this flags “-v -s” and type:
fsck -fy
mount -uw /
mkdir /backup
cd /System/Library/Extensions
mv AppleIntelHD* AppleIntelSNB* AMDRadeon* ATI* GeForce* NVDA* /backup
rm ../Caches/com.apple.kext.caches/Startup/kernelcache
reboot
Note: If your system have AppleIntelCPUPowerManagement then save it in backup.

I have a 3.06GHz 24″ Early 2008 Aluminum iMac. It was missing the hard drive, so I purchased a 320GB Western Digital hard drive for it. Windows 7 installed on it without a single issue, but, I wanted OS X. So, I tried to install Snow Leopard. After the install media begins to load and the spinner spins, the graphics get glitchy and it freezes. (Windows 7 installed fine) I boot in verbose mode, and it stops ad DSMOS has arrived, and the screen gets blocky and freezes. I do not have the other Snow Leopard install disc to run AHT.
So, I download Yosemite, and create a USB installer as per Apple document. I attempt to boot the install media (which seems to take a long time), the bar gets 1/3 the way, and it reboots. It’ll boot the install media, get 1/3 the way, reboot again, and will do this until I turn it off. In verbose mode, it also stops at DSMOS has arrived. The Yosemite installer does not seem to come with AHT.
There is no indication as to what is exactly wrong. No useful error messages or pinpoints to the issue. I’m at my whit’s end with this. Does anyone know what could be wrong? Currently the hard drive is blank, so there is no recovery mode. I just want to get either Snow Leopard or Yosemite installed. I have also reset the SMC and the PRAM according to Apple’s document. The service manual has nothing useful. Linux will boot as well, with no issue.

It did turn out to be the video card. A showed this picture to a another fellow and he said that the driver couldn’t initialize the video card. It turns out he was right. The video card was an Nvidia Geforce 8800 with the notorious problem of bad solder joints. This was why Snow Leopard glitched up! So, I took out the logic board and removed the video card. I removed the heat sink and cleaned off the old heat sink compound. Then, I took a heat gun and heated the GPU for about 5 minutes until it got hot enough that I couldn’t touch it. I then let it cool down to room temp. I put some new heat sink compound on the GPU and put everything back together. I ran the installer in verbose mode before, and after it got to «dsmos has arrived», it loaded the GUI and I was able to install Yosemite! It worked like magic! I actually like the Yosemite interface.
Now, I’ve read reports of this fix lasting a few weeks or a few months, or it happened again and it would have to be reheated again, or after a few reheatings the video card finally crapped out, etc. Some even said to get an ATI video card for this Mac to alleviate issues with the Nvidia video card all together. The good thing is that I know what the issue is and know how to fix it. Thanks everyone. I’ve also heard (since my logic board has a CPU socket) that one can run a QX9300 CPU, upgrade it to 6GB ram, and you’ll have a pretty decent Mac.
