1. Quit the Creative Cloud Desktop app.
2. Navigate to User LibraryApplication SupportAdobe
   1. To access the hidden User Library folder, see Access hidden user library files | Mac OS 10.7 and later.
3. Locate and remove the AAMUpdater and OOBE folders.
4. Reopen the Creative Cloud Desktop app located in the Applications folder.

Windows:

1. Quit the Creative Cloud desktop app.
2. Navigate to Users\AppDataLocalAdobe
3. To view the hidden AppData folder, see Show hidden files, folders, filename extensions | Windows XP, Vista, Windows 7.
4. Locate and remove the AAMUpdate and OOBE folders.
5. Reopen the Creative Cloud desktop app located in Start Screen/Menu.

The AAMUpdater and OOBE folders are recreated when the Creative Cloud desktop app is relaunched.

Make sure that you are removing only the versions of these files that are specific to the user account. Otherwise, all currently installed Adobe Creative applications will need to be removed. Solution

Try the following steps in the recommended order. Try downloading or updating your Creative Cloud apps after each step to verify whether the issue is resolved.

1. Navigate to the following location:

On Windows: C:Users [user name] AppDataLocalAdobeAAMUpdater
On Mac OS X: /Users/ [user name] /Library/Application Support/Adobe/AAMUpdater

Where [user name] is the user name with which you are logged in to the system.

2. Rename the 1.0 folder to 1.0_old.

For example, navigate to the AAMUpdater folder on your computer and change the name of the folder 1.0 to 1.0_old.

If you can’t find the location, probably the AppData folder is hidden on your computer. To directly access the folder, follow the below mentioned steps:

Windows: Press Windows key + R to open the Run command window. In the Open box, type %localappdata%AdobeAAMUpdater and then click OK.

Mac OS X: In the Finder, select Go > Go to Folder. In the Go To Folder dialog box, type

/Library/Application Support/Adobe/AAMUpdater and click Go.

Temporarily disable any antivirus programs installed on the computer. (Check with the security software manufacturer for specific instructions.)

Temporarily turn off Windows Firewall and retry installation. Turn on the firewall after the
installation is complete. For more information, see Turn Windows Firewall on or off.

Navigate to the following location and delete the contents of the Temp folder:

ну так если не убивается с перезагрузки, то убивай руками с задач. там же в отчёте пишется чё закрыть надо и к какому файлу обращается установщик. к этому же файлу обращается ещё какой-то процесс, вот его надо убить
